The Harlem Renaissance was a cultural, social and artistic explosion that centered in Harlem in the 1920s and 1930s, pushing creative boundaries for self-expression to new and exciting heights.

Our own original illustrations on the mug pay homage with portrayals of the musicians, artists, and luminaries who helped to build this thriving movement. Included are Duke Ellington on the piano, singer Billie Holiday with signature gardenia tucked behind her ear, Dizzy Gillespie and his trumpet, Josephine Baker in her infamous banana skirt, writer Langston Hughes looking stylish in his fedora, Cab Calloway depicted as a top-hatted bandleader and flapper girls at the iconic and legendary Savoy Ballroom.

Kevin ★★★★★

The design is so striking that I keep it on my desk just to look at it, even when my coffee's gone cold. It's a solid, comfortable mug to hold and the artwork really captures that creative spirit of the era.

The gold rim catches the light beautifully, and the black glaze feels almost velvety to the touch. I've been using it every morning for my coffee and it makes the whole ritual feel a bit more special, honestly.

Abigail ★★★★★

It arrived carefully wrapped and the gold accent that runs through the design catches the light beautifully. It's the perfect size for my morning coffee and feels sturdy enough for daily use.
